Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies Celebrates Iraqi National Day.

The Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies / University of Baghdad held a celebration on the occasion of the Iraqi National Day, under the auspices of the Dean, Prof. Dr. Kadhum A. Adem, and in the presence of faculty members, students, and staff.

The ceremony began with the flag-raising ceremony and the national anthem, as an expression of pride in the homeland and embodiment of the values of belonging and loyalty.

In his speech, the Dean emphasized that the National Day represents a great opportunity to renew congratulations to our dear people and Iraqi universities in general, and University of Baghdad in particular, as towering scientific institutions that have contributed to serving society and building the country.

He stressed that the path of higher education remains the cornerstone for the advancement of Iraq and the enhancement of its status among nations, calling on God to protect our beloved Iraq and grant it security, progress, and prosperity.

The event witnessed a wide interaction from the attendees, who confirmed their pride in their national identity and the role of academic institutions in consolidating the values of citizenship and belonging.
